About the Organization

The Teaching and Research Faculty Organization at Tel Aviv University represents thousands of employees and scholars. Through the organization, we work to protect the rights of its members, promote fair teaching and research conditions and job security, as well as secure various benefits for organization members.

The organization's bodies, including the organization's board, management, and audit committee, are democratically elected every year at the members' assembly. All members of the organization have the right to apply and be elected to these bodies.

Membership

Organization members who are employed by the university pay a monthly membership fee to the organization in the amount of 0.75% of their salary. Faculty members who choose not to be members of the organization still enjoy the benefits secured by the collective agreements obtained by the organization and are obligated to pay professional organizational care fees in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Benefits

Organization members enjoy the following benefits:

Helath Insurance: university-employees can join the collective health insurance policy in Harel, under which the scholarship recipients are insured with favorable terms.

Meal Cards: The organization offers discounted meal cards to campus cafeterias.

Holiday gifts: The organization distributes holiday gifts to all its members once a year. A notification about the distribution of the gift is sent to the organization's mailing list.
